Hot Honey Butter
Makes approximately 3/4 cup
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature, cut into pieces
3 TBSP Bee Kind Honey (or try this with our Bee Kind Chili Infused Honey and omit the hot sauce)
1 tablespoon hot sauce or to taste (we used Frank's Hot Sauce)
kosher salt to taste
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Leave at room temperature if using immediately or can be stored covered in the refrigerator for several days.
To serve, slather it on fresh bread, cornbread, pancakes or waffles. Spread onto hot corn on the cob. Melt and drizzle over hot popcorn. Stir into your favourite hot wing sauce. Stir into your morning oatmeal. Mix into chunky roasted sweet potatoes, butternut squash or parsnips 5 minutes before they are ready to come out of the oven. Delicious served on a cheese board with bread and crackers.
